
Kelli McQueen
Phd candidate in musicology and medieval studeis
Kelli McQueen is a PhD candidate in musicology and medieval studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She holds a MLIS and MM in music history and literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her research interests include poetry and song in the Middle Ages, the history of musical notation, and gendered organology. She enjoys playing fiddle, finger-style guitar, and other period string instruments (lute, viola da gamba, and vielle). She often performs with the Flatland Consort and at various small venues in the CU area.
